Selection guide

Start with operating conditions, then select the pump family

The fastest way to avoid wrong pump selection is to define the process boundary before comparing model tables.

01

What gas or vapor is being handled?

Confirm water vapor, solvent, corrosive content, dust, temperature and condensable load.

02

What vacuum level and capacity are required?

State target pressure and required pumping speed at the operating point, not only nominal pump size.

03

Is oil-free or dry operation required?

Choose screw or oil-free reciprocating options when contamination control is the leading requirement.

04

Can the process tolerate working liquid?

Liquid ring pumps are robust for wet gas, but operating liquid, sealing liquid and discharge handling must be defined.

05

Is a booster or complete system needed?

Roots boosters, condensers, separators, heat exchangers and controls can change the real operating result.
